Raising Philanthropic Children
Description
Explore emerging research on the biology of philanthropic behavior, the development of altruism in children, the religious motivations for philanthropy, and adult motivations for giving and serving. The module focuses on the internal and personal reasons that people are philanthropic.
Learning Objectives
The learner will:
- describe age appropriate altruistic behavior.
- compare and contrast the philanthropic underpinnings of the worlds’ major religions.
- investigate and describe adult motivations for giving and serving.
