Description

Philanthropy education uses cognitive and affective methods of teaching to make a long-term difference in students' lives. Learning to Give, Curriculum Division of The LEAGUE, has more than 1,400 teacher-created lessons, and other resource materials, to teach young people about giving time, talent and treasure and taking action for the common good. This module guides you through these resources to help you develop a plan for philanthropy education.

Learning Objectives

The learner will:

  1. browse and learn to navigate through the philanthropy education resources offered to educators, parents, youth workers and religious instructors on the Learning to Give website

CEU Credit

Upon successful completion of each module, the learner may request a certificate suitable for a professional development portfolio or as proof of educational clock hours that can be used towards continuing education credit in most states. Please contact your State Department of Education for specific information.
