Commemorate the heroes of September 11th by challenging your students to exercise their courage to be everyday heroes through service to the community. Use the rights and responsibilities guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution to set an understanding and vocabulary in your class and school about the importance of a civil society. Focus students on their responsibility to give their time, talent and treasure for the common good (philanthropy).
